On Saturday, 15th of August, a guided tour of the Teufelsberg in Berlin is planned. Rising above the Grunewald forest in Berlin, Teufelsberg (“Devil’s Mountain”) is no ordinary hill. Built from the rubble of post-war Berlin, it covers the ruins of a Nazi military-technical college that was never completed. During the Cold War, the U.S. National Security Agency used the site as a listening station, with massive radar domes that still dominate the skyline.

Today, Teufelsberg is a fascinating blend of history, urban exploration, and creative expression. Its abandoned buildings are covered in large-scale street art and graffiti by both international and local artists, turning the site into one of Berlin’s most unique places and the biggest open-air gallery of Europe.

On Sunday, 16th of August, the entire Summer School team will come together for an elevator pitching session. Each seminar and workshop will briefly present and propose their key findings and creations. The event also offers a hands-on opportunity to present your work to the other Summer School participants and get their feedback. In particular, we will form teams to playtest the games developed by the seminar “Human Rights and Social Inclusion Using Sports for All.” We are looking forward to a fun and engaging afternoon of exploration and discovery!
