Workshop 3: Comedy without Words
Teaching Staff: Elias Elastisch und Nicolas Rocher
We are Nicolas Rocher and Elias Elastisch, two wordless actors and comedians. Known for our dark humor and the versatility of our characters, we both studied mime in Berlin. Since 2011, we have been on a journey together, exploring the possibilities of telling stories without words. We are currently touring with our second stage show, "Tasty Biscuits," and won the Wilhelmshaven Cabaret Prize with it in 2024. Over the years, other art forms have naturally become integrated into our work. These are closely related genres such as juggling, puppetry, and magic, which influence our acts. But of course, humor is the most important driving force behind our work; if it doesn't make us laugh, how can it work for the audience?
